Please note that since the Health Department is a government employer we establish an eligibility list of applicants for each position. You need to apply separately for each position so we can consider you for every position that interests you.

NKY Health Employment Application

The Health Department is accepting applications for the following positions:

Clinic Registered Nurses (Clinic RNs).

  • Full/part-time: Full-time/Part-time, non-exempt (hourly pay) merit system position
  • Location: All NKY Health Locations (Covington, Florence, Newport and Williamstown)

Hep-C RNs [Code: HEPRN].

  • Part-Time: Part-time (22.5 hours/week) Contract Position
  • Location: Based at our District Office at 8001 Veterans Memorial Drive, Florence, KY  41042, with travel within our four-county district

Interviews

If you have submitted your resume or application for a position, CareerBuilder should notify you that your application has been received. Health Department staff will contact you within 90 days to set up an interview if we determine that you are one of the best qualified for the position. If you do not hear from the Health Department within 90 days, you may wish to apply another time.

If you are contacted for an interview, you will be required to complete the Health Department’s paper employment application form in its entirety and bring it with you to the interview. You may download and complete the form from this website (PDF or Word version). Completing the form usually takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
