Please note that since the Health Department is a government employer we establish an eligibility list of applicants for each position. You need to apply separately for each position so we can consider you for every position that interests you.

The Health Department is accepting applications for the following positions:

Case Manager for HIV/AIDS Housing [Code: HCZM].

  • Full-Time: Full-time, non-exempt (paid hourly) merit system position
  • Location: Based at our District Office at 8001 Veterans Memorial Drive, Florence, KY 41042 but may travel within our four-county district
  • How to apply: Apply through CareerBuilder.  For immediate consideration, apply by May 19, 2020.  Applications will be accepted as long as the position is posted on CareerBuilder

Registered Sanitarian [Code: RS].

  • Full-Time: Full-time, non-exempt (paid hourly) merit system position
  • Location: Based at our District Office at 8001 Veterans Memorial Drive, Florence, KY 41042 with travel within our four-county district
  • How to apply: Apply through CareerBuilder.  For immediate consideration, apply by June 19, 2020.  Applications will be accepted as long as the position is posted on CareerBuilder

Clinic Registered Dietitians (Clinic RD) [Code: HCRD].

  • Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time (40 hours per week)/Part-Time (22.5 hours per week), non-exempt (paid hourly) merit system position
  • Location: All locations (Covington, Florence, Newport, and Williamstown)

Clinic Registered Nurses (Clinic RNs) [Code: HCRN].

Interviews

If you have submitted your resume or application for a position, CareerBuilder should notify you that your application has been received. Health Department staff will contact you within 90 days to set up an interview if we determine that you are one of the best qualified for the position. If you do not hear from the Health Department within 90 days, you may wish to apply another time.

NKY Health Employment Applications

If you are scheduled for an interview, you will be required to complete the Health Department’s electronic employment application form in its entirety. Unless otherwise instructed, the electronic NKY Health Employment Application form must be completed at least one full business day prior to an interview. This is in addition to the application completed on the CareerBuilder website. Please allow sufficient time; most people need at least one hour to complete the form.
