Administration and Accounting (A&A) together with the Office of the District Director of Health (ODDH) held their annual staff development training on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, in the District Office Training Conference Room. The delicious aroma of the “homemade” goodies staff members brought in provided a welcoming feeling to attendees as Dr. Saddler kicked off the event.
The day was full of great presentations, including:
Doug Thomas, Clinical Services, provided an overview of NKY Health’s Syringe Access Exchange Program
Steve Divine, Environmental Health and Safety, discussing food safety while asking, “Does this taste funny?”
Cady Cornell, Population Health, had everyone’s attention during her presentation on the dangers of e-cigarettes.
Dr. Saddler provided an update on the State of the Health Department.
The day concluded in much the same way it began – with the scrumptious aroma of food. Staff members were able to catch up with one another, discussing how they spent the holidays, recent movies they’ve seen, and more as they enjoyed a burrito bar lunch catered by Chipotle.
