Nicotine Patches Available for Free to Northern Kentucky Residents
Kentucky tax increase on cigarettes makes it a good time to quit smoking
WHAT: With the tax on a pack of cigarettes increasing from 60 cents to $1.10 in Kentucky this Sunday, July 1, this is a great time for area smokers to quit the habit.
The Northern Kentucky Health Department reminds residents of Boone, Campbell, Grant and Kenton Counties that they can receive four free weeks of nicotine patches from Kentucky’s Quitline program to help them quit smoking.
Contact 1-800-QUIT-NOW for more information or to receive the free supply of nicotine patches.
