Supermarket Tours Offer Real-Time Nutrition Education

 Diabetes educators from the Northern Kentucky Diabetes Coalition will be participating in supermarket tours to provide real-time nutrition information to those with or at risk for diabetes. The tours are scheduled for:

Participants should meet in the café area near the produce department.

Participants will get personalized tips for healthy shopping, learn to read labels and learn how carbohydrate counting can be incorporated into grocery shopping. Plus, all participants will receive a reusable shopping bag with information about diabetes.

Tours will be led by a Certified Diabetes Educator and/or a Registered Dietitian. Registration is required to guarantee a space.
