Get Free Diabetes Education Before for Holidays

Get practical tips to manage your diabetes through the holiday season and in to the New Year. Diabetes educators from the Northern Kentucky Health Department are offering comprehensive education during a free class from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, at the Florence Fire Department, 1152 Weaver Road, Florence, Ky.

Registration is required. Lunch and a diabetes toolkit will be provided.

Topics will include: what is diabetes, healthy eating, preventing complications and more. The class will be led by a Registered Nurse/Certified Diabetes Educator and a Registered Dietitian from the Health Department.
