If you have diabetes, the Northern Kentucky Health Department’s diabetes program is offering a free class to learn more about the disorder.
The class is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at the Southern Campbell County Fire House, 1050 Race Track Road, Alexandria, Ky. Registration is required. A free lunch and a diabetes toolkit will be provided to those who attend.
Topics will include: what is diabetes, healthy eating, preventing complications and more. The classes will be led by a Registered Nurse/Certified Diabetes Educator and a Registered Dietitian from the Health Department.
